From the humble beginnings in 1946 to the leader in cookware innovation, Saladmaster has been changing life one healthy meal at a time. Our founder Harry Lemmons started the company with a simple salad cutting machine. The ingenious design and superior functionality of the original Saladmaster Machine was so well received, it has become an icon of the mid-century American kitchen. The basic concept has yet to be improved upon. Saladmaster began with three salesmen and grew to over 100 Independent Distributors within the first year. Today, we have over 28,000 Independent Authorized Dealers and Cooking Coaches worldwide. Saladmaster is a proud member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA) and is one of the longest operating companies in the direct sales industry.

Saladmaster began as the vision of one entrepreneur, Harry Lemmons. He believed the entrepreneurial opportunity should be available to anyone with a similar drive, and it all started with him selling the Saladmaster Food Processor out of his car in grocery store parking lots over 70 years ago. Saladmaster not only empowers people by preparing home-cooked meals for their families, but we also give people an opportunity to sell our products and earn extra income. It’s an important way that we teach people how to become their best.
